The Competent Communicator program is a set of 10 speech projects which will help you develop your speaking skills one step at a time.  The program has been developed to be accessible by speakers of any ability.  Upon conclusion, you should have attained a competent level of speaking ability which is also eligible for official recognition by Toastmasters International (speak to the VP Education for further details).  Furthermore, you can continue to hone your speech skills by tackling the Advanced Communication track.

Each project has been outlined below, describing the nature, timing and objectives of each speech.  Although it is advisable to follow the speech order outlined as each lesson naturally builds upon the next, it is possible to complete assignments out of sequence (typically not CC1 or CC10).
