Meeting Roles
As well as performing speeches, every St Paul's Speakers club meeting requires a number of roles to be fulfilled in order to deliver the preset agenda.  This is an opportunity for members not only to "get more stage time", but also to  hone their leadership skills and progress through their Leadership manuals.  Outlined below are the various roles available at meetings, with links to how-to guides and other resources
The Competent Leadership Manual - "Isn't it just about speeches?"

In addition to the Competent Communicator manual, Toastmasters offers the Competent Leadership (CL) manual as part of the new joiner pack for members to improve their skills in this area.  Many of the projects revolve around meeting roles and challenge the member to draw specific lessons from carrying out each role.

Unlike the Competent Communicator manual, each CL project is made up of multiple strands with each objective needing to be completed before the project can be signed off.  In order to simplify this process, the club has drawn up this simple one page guide to offer our members clear guidance on each project requirement:
